What you need:
1 piece construction paper White glue Powdered Jello (pink works best for V-Day) Crayons or markers
What you do:
1. Fold a piece of construction paper in half to form a card. Cut the ends of the paper into a scalloped shape for a more fancy look.
2. Write a Valentine's Day message on the inside of the folded card.
3. Color any pictures onto the front of the card, keeping in mind that you'll be making some of the designs in 3-D Jello. For example, you could draw three hearts on the front.
4. Outline part of your design or picture with the glue. For example, if you had three hearts on the front, you could outline the middle heart with glue.
5. While the glue is still wet, sprinkle the powdered Jello over the glue until the glue is completely covered.
6. Let the glue dry completely, about 3 hours.
7. When glue is completely dry, shake the excess Jello off and discard. Your sweetly scented card is now ready to give away.
*TIP* Make sure all the drawings are completed before applying the glue. It's really tough to write or draw on gluey, Jelloed paper.
*15 Minute Moment* Learn a new song together, preferably one that can be sung in a round.
