Cool Books for Boys
A list of great books for elemtary-age boys. These books will get them excited about reading.

Statistics show that boys are less likely to become good readers than girls. Make sure that doesn't happen to your sons by introducing them to the wonders of books at a young age. As colder weather approaches, encourage them to curl up under a blanket and read. Here's a list of good stories about cool boys just like them (note that this list is for elementary-age boys only).
The Beast in Ms. Rooney's Room by Patricia Reilly Giff - Held back for a year in 2nd grade, Richard can't seem to help getting into trouble, until he gets interested in reading and helps his class in a special way. 76 pgs.

15 Minute Moment
Choose a comic strip and cut out each panel. Have your child arrange the comic strip in the correct order. For extra fun, have your child draw their own last panel to complete the funny story.
